Crafting Legacy
Two people with the desire to make. Sue, Keepsakes by Sue, brings paper based products to life. Dave, Forever in Wood, concentrates on projects based on the use of an 80 watt Epilog CO2 laser. There are many collaborative projects between the two that brings other material and elements into play. We believe in the power of the objects we keep and the desire to provide others with these kinds of treasures through gifting. Based in Granger, Indiana, our studio serves as a dedicated space where legacy is etched into everything we make.
We have been active in the crafting and building practices all our lives. We obtained our first Epilog CO2 laser in 2010 and have upgraded over the years as our experience has grown. We have a number of paper cutting machines and devices as well as printing and sublimation capabilities. We use all of our resources to create custom gifts. We started doing this for family and friends only. Now that we are both "retired" we are expanding our capabilities to a wider audience.
We are both engineers by education and enjoy the design and creation of specialty products. We specialize in products that include personal names, dates, places and events integrated into the design. There are a number of products we can produce and customize for you. We can also work with you to design something unique for your needs.
We can create your single gift or scale up to provide gifts and or favors for events such as weddings, showers, office parties, birthdays, business marketing items and for many other needs. We can provide bulk purchase discounts as larger order volumes allow for efficiencies in the make Process.
From custom engravings to creative paper designs, our work is defined by attention to detail that allows the beauty of the medium to speak. We seek the intersection of use and personalization, to ensure that every gift, whether a childhood puzzle or a wedding wine box, becomes a permanent fixture in your family story.
